On April 4, 2013, a high-level consultation on hunger, food security and nutrition took place in Madrid, Spain, and constituted the final meeting of the Post-2015 Thematic Consultations on Hunger, Food Security, and Nutrition. The meeting included members from the UN, non-governmental organizations, civil society, and the private sector, who came together to identify priority areas and building blocks related to food security and nutrition in the post-2015 development agenda. This meeting was co-led by FAO and WFP and co-hosted by the Governments of Spain and Colombia. The below report summarizes key points from this meeting and provides recommendations for the theme of hunger, food security and nutrtion in the post-2015 development agenda.
