From Nutrition Plus to Nutrition Driven: How to Realise the Elusive Potential of Agriculture for Nutrition?
Lawrence Haddad argues that while agriculture represents significant potential impact for nutrition, empirical evidence remains limited and has not kept pace with the conceptual pathways linking the two sectors. This literature review pinpoints several reasons why the evidence itself is not necessarily weak, but that instead that it is not being collected at all or at a sufficient level of quality. Haddad recommends tools to increase the visibility of nutrition generally, as well as agriculture-nutrition leadership specifically and mechanisms for keeping agricutlure accountable to nutrition.
