Food and Nutrition (in-)Security and Social Protection
This paper from the OECD library looks at the operational and policy linkages between social protection, food security, and nutrition security, particularly among Development Assistance Committee (DAC) members and their partners. The authors examine the evidence of practical benefits that can be delivered by different social protection instruments, and assesses multisectoral links in the context of the international development policy agenda. The paper concludes with recommendations for these broad audiences, and by identifying the main challenges and trade-offs that DAC members in specific are likely to face.
