A working paper that assesses the income elasticity of micronutrients and how they change in times of crisis, to better inform policies and programs meant to cushion the impact of such shocks on poverty and malnutrition. This paper uses data from two cross-sectional household surveys in Indonesia to first examine how the income elasticity of the starchy staple ratio differs between two survey periods, and second to provide update estimates of income elasticity for key micronutrients in Indonesia.
