WASH and Nutrition Case Studies
WASHPlus is a USAID-funded project supporting access, practices, and health outcomes related to WASH.
In 2014, WASHPlus collected 12 case studies as part of a joint donor document on integrating WASH and nutrition. They are grouped into three categories:
- Large-scale country programs integrating WASH into an overall focus on child nutrition.
- Large-scale programs aimed at reducting malnutrition through a cross-sector approach.
- Integrating essential WASH inputs into nutrition programming during humanitarian emergencies.
- Combining WASH and nutrition inputs to tackle special problems or meet the needs of special populations.
