This presentation highlights the main findings of a Research on Food Assistance for Nutritional Impact (REFANI) review on the impact of cash transfer programs on acute malnutrition in humanitarian contexts. The presentation was delivered at a REFANI stakeholder meeting held in Isalamabad, Pakistan, on April 2, 2015. The 32 slides guide the audience through the key research areas identified within the review, including the cash-versus-vouchers debate, cash-versus-double-cash, complementarity (cash plus), medium term effects, processes, qualitative issues, and cost effectiveness.
