The African Journal of Food, Agriculture, Nutrition, and Development’s most recent issue is devoted to biofortification and its potential as a cost-effective and sustainable method to reduce mineral and vitamin deficiencies amongst the rural poor. This special edition includes some of the first articles by practitioners, evaluating the delivery experience of biofortified crops (e.g. rice, wheat, maize, sweet potato, beans, cassava and pearl millet) across several countries and through various delivery channels.
