Animal Source Foods for Nutrition Impact: Evidence and Good Practices for Informed Project Design

Webinar: Land O’Lakes International Development and the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI/CGIAR) propose a webinar on evidence and good practices for informed project design for animal source foods (ASF) for nutrition impact, focused in particular on why ASF are critical for nutrition, especially during the first 1000 days, and on pathways of impact of livestock programs on household nutrition. Practical field experience illustrating the impact of livestock (poultry & dairy) interventions on household nutrition will be presented, alongside an upcoming ILRI sponsored review of the global evidence linking ASF and nutrition. Presentations will have a specific focus on Kenya and other East African contexts.
